Many government programs provide money and support to businesses and communities. But applying to those programs can be hard. One reason is that many cities and towns do not have a government employee who knows about federal programs. This government person would be in charge of applying to get the funds from these programs. A White House StrikeForce would pair government officials with leaders in low-income rural communities to help them get more federal funding.
