Expand the Community Reinvestment Act

The Community Reinvestment Act improves access to banking. It requires banks to invest in low- to middle-income communities. These communities have not had the same access to banks as higher-income communities. It can be hard for families to get housing or take out a loan without the ability to bank. This issue mostly impacts communities of color which increases the racial wealth gap in the United States.
