The U.S. Drought Monitor (USDM) provides weekly updates on drought conditions across the United States and its territories, using a classification system ranging from normal to exceptional drought. It is a collaborative effort by the National Drought Mitigation Center, NOAA, and USDA, incorporating multiple data sources to assess and monitor drought severity.
