This article focuses on how the COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated child hunger and malnutrition throughout the world, which in turn translates to higher vulnerability towards COVID-19, wasting and stunted growth, infectious diseases, and premature deaths. It also provides recommendations for effective short-term and long-term interventions to improve access to sufficient, nutritious food for pregnant women and children.
