This resource discusses NACCHO's Health Impact Assessment (HIA) Project. The goal is to enhance local health department (LHD) staff training and experience in HIA, promote its use at LHDs, and improve community health by considering health in community design decisions, ultimately fostering public health, health equity, and environmental justice through engagement with stakeholders.
