This is a health impact assessment of the proposed renovation of Adams Park—a 68-acre green space located in a predominantly African-American area of Omaha, Nebraska—focused on health effects associated with access to healthy foods, opportunities for physical activity, safety from crime and traffic, and education that recommended the creation of an urban farming and community gardening center.
