This resource explains previous study links with Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other related neurodevelopmental disorders (NDDs) which have been shown to increase the risk of being sexually victimized. In females, ASD was associated with an almost threefolded increased risk of coercive sexual victimization. The association between the NDD general factor and coercive sexual victimization is due to shared genetics.
