People who were incarcerated face barriers to employment since many employers will not hire people with a criminal record. Re-entry programs help people who are or have been incarcerated get and keep jobs when they are released. They include classes on how to write a resume, find a job, and keep a job. They sometimes also include training opportunities. These programs may also give the person some money for getting to the job or for clothes to wear to work.
