Growing the Health Impact Assessment Movement

In our previous feature, Health Impact Assessment Informs Decisions, we looked at how Columbia, Missouri used an HIA to assess the overall health effects of a public transportation utility fee. While their resulting report was highly praised and did sway the ultimate decision, budget concerns have public health officials there still struggling to get HIA as a normal part of the planning process.
