Partnership for a Healthier America, a collaboration of Let’s Move, The California Endowment, Kaiser Permanente, Nemours, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, W.K. Kellogg Foundation, and the Alliance for a Healthier Generation, kicked off it’s inaugural childhood obesity summit last week. Keynote speakers included: First Lady Michelle Obama; Cory A. Booker, Mayor of the City of Newark; and William H. Frist, M.D.. Workshops were held throughout the two day event and included sessions facilitated by The Food Trust; Altarum Institute; The President’s Council on Fitness, Sports, and Nutrition; and the Alliance for a Healthier Generation.
