      ACTiVHOS is the 1st and only fully bi-lingual/bi-cultural health and wellness program in the Northeast Ohio Region. ACTiVHOS was developed to promote health and wellness engagement with local Latino youth and families and decrease the prevalence of obesity, malnutrition, and type 2 diabetes in the community. The program is a six week incentivized program that combines fun nutrition education and physical activity.

Public Hub Hub Tree: Salud America!

Salud America! is a national online network of researchers, community group leaders, decision-makers, and members of the public working together to support healthy policy and environmental changes that can help reverse obesity among Latino children.

The network, funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, is a project of the Institute for Health Promotion Research (IHPR) at The UT Health Science Center at San Antonio.
