Public Order & Safety

Public safety is the protection of a community from dangers emanating from crime and disasters.

Typically expressed as the responsibility of government, public safety is a collective of public and private organizations that operate in concert to provide for the safety and welfare of the citizenry. These include law enforcement, fire protection, emergency medical services and emergency management.
