Worker-owned cooperatives are businesses that employees own and manage. The employees make their own decisions and control the profits they earn through their labor. About 60 percent of new worker-owned cooperatives are owned by people of color. People need more information about worker-owned cooperatives. They also need more opportunities to work for these cooperatives.
