The analysis is based on interviews with 17 local, state, and national stakeholders, with an emphasis on Boston, Columbus, New York City, and Seattle. The purpose of this brief is to inform policymakers seeking to create or improve a restaurant grading system in their own locality using lessons learned from peers who have recently implemented a strong policy.
