This video is part of a series that the EPA created to commemorate 20 years of work on environmental justice. The series features federal and local government officials, non-profit leaders, and students, who tell stories about the lessons they have learned over their time working on environmental justice. In this video, Reggie Harris shares his most memorable experiences with environmental justice. A community united together over how a large number and concentration of facilities were being located there. Harris helped conduct a comprehensive risk study and engage residents to facilitate discussions and help find solutions.
