The Kings Ridge apartments have been traditionally plagued by crime, poverty and poor health. A new management company has purchased the property and developed a community renovation plan which is designed to improve the health, safety and quality of life of residents. This HIA examines the plan and progress, looking at its effects on indicators such as access to healthcare and healthy foods, safety of the neighborhood, compatibility of the surrounding uses, and overall improved social capital.
