Nutrition Guide Summer Food Service Program
This guide is intended for sponsors who prepare meals on-site or in central kitchen. It was developed to help sponsors plan and serve menus with a variety of well-balanced and nutritious foods and beverages, and operate a safe and successful food service. This guide contains menu planning and nutrition guidance along with sample breakfast, lunch, and snack menus. Food service record-keeping requirements, food buying and storage information, and food safety and sanitation guidance are also included.
